Your audio and image files stay on your device.
SlowedGenerator operates entirely in your browser. All audio and image processing happens client-side on your device. We do not have access to your files, and they are never uploaded to our servers.
We do collect anonymous product analytics so we can understand how the tool is used and improve it. This includes events such as when an audio file is uploaded, a preset is selected, an export is started/completed, or a YouTube URL is imported. For these events we may log the filename or URL you provided, but we never collect the audio content, artwork pixels, or generated downloads.
When you upload audio or images:
We never collect, store, or have access to your audio files, images, artwork, or any generated output (including slowed audio, MP3, WAV, or MP4 exports). All processing happens in your browser. We cannot listen to your music, view your images, or download your creations.
We use PostHog for anonymous product analytics and session replay. PostHog may use cookies or local storage to recognise your browser across visits. The data it collects is anonymous and used only to understand how the tool is used and to fix issues.
Session replay is configured to mask all inputs and block canvas/WebGL recording, so your uploaded filenames/URLs and the audio visualizer are not visible in replays.

Since we do not collect or store your audio, images, or exported files, there is no risk of data breaches or unauthorised access to your content through our service. All processing happens locally on your device.
Because we do not collect personal information or your creative content, there is no data for us to access, modify, or delete. You maintain complete control over your files at all times.
Our service does not collect information from anyone, including children under 13. The tool can be used safely by anyone without privacy concerns.
